In a recent interview, His Excellency Mamady Traoré, Ambassador of Guinea to Kuwait, provided insights on the growing partnership between our two nations and addressed important matters concerning Guinean citizens in Kuwait.
Workforce Cooperation
Ambassador Traoré highlighted the existing framework for Guinean workers in Kuwait, emphasizing that their employment is facilitated through officially established recruitment offices. He noted that while many Guinean citizens are successfully employed in Kuwait, some face challenges adapting to their work environments. The Embassy stands ready to assist Guinean nationals who encounter difficulties.
To improve this process, Ambassador Traoré has proposed enhanced cooperation between Guinean and Kuwaiti authorities to ensure the wellbeing of Guinean workers. He has reached out to relevant ministries in Guinea to discuss potential improvements to the current system.
Development Projects
The Ambassador also discussed the promising collaboration between Guinea and Kuwait in infrastructure development. He mentioned his recent visit to Conakry for the signing of a loan agreement with the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development. This agreement will support the construction of crucial road infrastructure in Guinea, including new interchanges.
"This project exemplifies the strong ties between our nations and Kuwait's commitment to supporting Guinea's development goals," stated Ambassador Traoré. "We look forward to the positive impact these infrastructure improvements will have on our country's economic growth and the daily lives of our citizens."
The Embassy continues to work diligently to strengthen the relationship between Guinea and Kuwait across various sectors, including economic cooperation, cultural exchange, and workforce development. We remain committed to serving the Guinean community in Kuwait and fostering mutually beneficial partnerships between our two nations.
